Arts Outburst
We’ve got something for everyone to take part in from our Family Fiestas: music for early years children and their families; Musical Maths part of the Multiply programme; to our flagship 'Make Some Noise' for children and young people to be able to explore their own creativity. OurTroupe and Squad programmes are aimed at Adults who are looking to do something creative with their spare time.
Founded in 2004, Arts Outburst has been co-creating art and cultural projects with the people of Thurrock (and beyond) for almost 20 years! In 2023, we joined the Arts Council England’s National Portfolio. We have secured core funding for three years. This means we can plan, develop and deliver even more great arts projects for everyone in Thurrock and South Essex to enjoy, including:
- Make Some Noise - Free weekly drama, dance and music sessions, open to all young people (Aged 6-14+).
- Express - Our creative mental health project offering a safe space to talk, create and connect.
- Grays Youth Club - Open every Friday, giving young people a friendly place to hang out and take part in positive activities.
- Zumba and Zumba Gold classes - Free sessions on Thursday and Friday. A great way to move, smile, and feel good.
- Thurrock Voices - Our free, all-welcome community choir is the perfect place to lift your voice and meet new people.
