Thurrock Young Carers
At Thurrock Young Carers we provide advice, information and support for young people, 8-18 years, who care for someone in their family with a long term illness, disability, mental health condition or drug and alcohol misuse. Whether you care for your mum, dad, brother, sister or grandparent, we are here to provide help & support when you need it. Meet other young people with a similar story and have time out from your caring role.

Further info
The Thurrock Young Carers Project can support you in lots of different ways: We offer 1: 2: 1 support with a Young Carers support worker. You can join us on group activities & trips away. Have access to our training/workshop programme to gain new skills. Access to our newsletters. We can also help you talk to your school, so they have a better understanding of your caring role and offer extra support if needed.
