Welcome to B3-Bumps Birth and Belonging CIC - the specialist organisation that supports Afro-Caribbean and mixed heritage parents with all things related to pregnancy, birth and parenting. If you're pregnant or have a baby under 24 months we can support your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs with hands on, practical information either face to face, via whatsapp or virtually. All of our activities and information derive from what the community have told us, are culturally relevant and non judgmental.

Our Group peer support has proven to be extremely successful in reducing isolation, gaining new mum friends and exploring the local community with your babies in a safe group setting. You can also have 1:1 support thorugh our connected mams services and/or free counselling if you live within the Thurrock area (T&Cs apply)
Who can use this service?
This service is aimed at Black African, Caribbean or mixed heritage parents living in Essex. We are dedicated to reducing the maternal, infant and mental health inequalities within the community by providing targeted, culturally competent, non judgemental peer and professional support, education and information.
How are services delivered?
At present we hold our face to face groups from the Thurrock famly hubs on Thursdays 11am - 1pm - term time only. We also hold monthly wellbeing walks at local parks/woodlands with the occassional trip to cafes or indoor activity centres. 1:1 support can be virtual or face to face- most parents find this usuful to make new friends in the area and building their confidence in leaving the house with thier new baby
