The Pyramid Centre
We look to contribute to the local community in as many ways as possible. Whether it's acting as a support hub for emotional and mental wellbeing, running or supporting community led events (including eco-fairs, first aid training, community lunches, park events and school fetes) or opportunities to express creativity with volunteer led arts and crafts workshops, including knitting, sewing and calligraphy. We aim to make our activities either free or at minimum cost. As a non-profit making organisation, all money raised goes back into the community.
We are The Pyramid Centre, also known as Thurrock Play Network. We are a non profit charity that specialises in the recycling and repurposing of pre-loved goods through the means of arts and crafts. We have a genuine passion for the community, and a core belief that play should be freely available to everyone.
This service is part of the Thurrock Micro Enterprise initiative. It has been checked and verified by Thurrock Council as being a community enterprise that helps with care, housing, community or health matters. The service will have the following in place: • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (where appropriate for delivery of service) • Public Liability Insurance • Other insurance where required • HMRC registration (where there's a charge for service) • Will conform to any regulations applicable to the service offered. All service providers will provide their documentation on request and prospective customers are encouraged to ask for sight of these.
