Open Door Services-Thurrock
We offer support services for young people, families and vulnerable adults in Thurrock. We support Care Leavers to live a healthy independent life secure in the communities in which they live. We provide an independent advocacy service which listens to, supports and represents individual young people who are in care. We mentor young people aged 8 – 18 who are referred into the project. We provide support, information and advice drop in sessions and appointments for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
We offer: Mentoring services for 8 - 18 yrs old, workshops for independent living, counselling, therapy and family support, advocacy for young persons, drop-ins for housing surgery, independence coaching for Care Leavers and free courses for 10 - 25 yr olds.
