Children and Young People Mental Health Service - Aveley, South Ockendon and Purfleet Primary Care Network (ASOP PCN)
We are Mental Health Practitioners, based in GP surgeries, who help children and young people with their emotional and mental wellbeing. We accept referrals for: mild to moderate emotional difficulties including low mood, anxiety; bereavement (signposting support); body image / disordered eating; obsessional thoughts; sleep problems; anger / emotional regulation & behaviours that challenge. Getting the right support early can prevent problems from getting bigger.
We can offer a child or young person support through: Consultation appointments to increase understanding of how to take care of your mental health and emotional wellbeing and/or 1-2-1 sessions in person to support the child or young person.
Professional referrals are accepted via Frontline for under 18s under the care of Aveley, South Ockendon and Purfleet Primary Care Network (ASOP PCN). Members of the public should approach their GP surgeries, health or social professional so that they can make a referral on their behalf, or if they require further information email us at cyp.mhp@nhs.net.

How are services delivered?
Available to children aged 5-18 years registered with any of the following GP surgeries: Aveley Medical Centre, Dr Yasin Surgery, Derry Court Medical Practice, Sancta Maria Centre, and Purfleet Care Centre.
Professional referrals are accepted via Frontline for under 18s under the care of ASOP PCN.
