Impulse Leisure: Falls Prevention
This small group exercise programme is aimed at helping members of our community that are at risk of trips and falls, empowering them to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. Over 36 weeks participants will be taught a variety of exercises to improve power and strength, balance, stamina and functional exercises to stay as independent as possible. The classes offer social interaction with similar people with free tea and biscuits at the end of class. This programme is FREE but there are limited spaces available.

Who can use this service?
Open to Thurrock residents aged 65+ years who feel unstable, have a fear or history of falling or low bone density and/or family history of osteoporotic fracture.

How are services delivered?
One session per week in a leisure centre or community setting. Home study will be required to support patients with their progress.
